Abstract: The network-based heading control and rudder oscillation reduction for an unmanned surface vehicle equipped with single rudder are investigated. A novel network-based model is first established by constructing a heading control error system and purposely dropping some control input packets, which are received by a steering machine. Some algorithms for selecting the number of purposely dropped control input packets are presented. Then, network-based modelling, and observer-based fault detection filter and controller coordinated design for an unmanned surface vehicle are discussed. The designed network-based fault detection filter and controller can guarantee the sensitivity of the residual signal to faults and the robustness of the unmanned surface vehicle to external disturbances.

王玉龙简介
男,博士后,教授,1977年11月生。目前为IEEE会员,中国指挥与控制学会云控制与决策专业委员会常务委员,江苏省欧美同学会理事,江苏省“333工程”第三层次培养对象,江苏省“六大人才高峰”培养对象,江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人,江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师。主要研究方向为网络化控制系统、故障检测、船舶航向控制等。在IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics,IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology等国内外期刊及IEEE Conference on Decision and Control,American Control Conference等国内外会议发表学术论文80余篇;主持及参与国家级项目6项;获省部级自然科学奖三等奖一项;授权国家发明专利15件、实用新型专利1件,受理国家发明专利14件。
