报告题目:Modeling and FE analysis multifield coupled smart composite structures
报告摘要
In present engineering applications multifunctional materials gain increasing importance in the development of smart structures; e.g., for shape and vibration control problems. In the first part of the presentation deals with development of piezoelectric nonlinear smart shell element, accounts for small strains and finite rotations considering the nonlinear electromechanical coupling in the constitutive equations and numerical simulation of various fully coupled thermo-electro-mechanical problems. In the second part modeling of more advanced materials like magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) materials starting from obtaining the equivalent layered material properties to finite element simulation of smart MEE composite structures with the newly developed smart MEE shell finite elements. Furthermore, numerical examples of dealing with smart functionally graded material structures are simulated under various load cases and presented to show the capabilities of developed shell elements in numerical analysis.
