报告摘要:Promising opportunities to go electric is getting more and more popular in the world’s factories and industrial parks, as well as in transportation. The electric vehicle (EV) has been regarded as one of the greenest transportations. In order to improve energy utilization efficiency, system feasibility, flexibility, and reliability, many emerging technologies have been proposed, including the SiC converters, wireless power transfer, and wireless motor drives.
In this talk, we will discuss the emerging technologies for advanced transport electrification, especially for the EV application, (i) Improved desynchronizing switching scheme for multiple parallel SiC devices to address the high switching loss of traction inverter for EV during the light load condition; (ii) A novel Nanocrystalline ribbon wireless power transfer system for high power wireless EV charger to reduce the magnetic core loss and flux leakage, then further improve the system’s robust and power density; (iii) A new breed of wireless motor drives without any active converter at the motor side to extend the robust of the motor drives among the harsh or isolated environment applications.
