报告人简介:

Yang Deng received his B.S. degree in information and computational science (belongs to applied mathematics) from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2014. In 2017, he obtained his M.S. degree in control engineering from Beihang University, Beijing, China. He is currently a Ph.D. student on control and automation at Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Nantes, France. His research interest includes time-delay systems, networked control systems, and their applications.

报告摘要:

This seminar introduces some significant or recent work on the predictor-based controller. In recent years, time-delay systems (TDS) is a hot topic in the control community since the time-delay appears in many physical systems (e.g. actuator’s dead time, remote control system), and it can degrade the performance or even destabilize the controlled system. The predictor-based controller is an effective way to stabilize TDS with long time-delay, the main concept is to predict the system state and then build a control law based on the state prediction.

This seminar can be divided into 4 parts. The first part of this seminar is to introduce some basic strategies of the predictor-based controller when the time-delay is constant and exactly known. Then one moves on to the stabilization of TDS with time-varying delay via predictor-based control. Next, some existing predictor-based approaches that deal with unknown constant time-delay are presented. Finally, the extension of the predictor-based controller to the networked control system (NCS) is introduced.
